As crazy as that sounds companies may be able to sue their employees for cyber slacking. In 1986 a policy called the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act was created to target those who violate their companies’ computer policies. Theoretically, under this rule companies could successfully sue their employees for doing anything from “checking Facebook to sending a non-work-related email while on the job.”
